I am building an inground pool and want a gold and glitter color rather than the typical greys or whites. Jeff Kerber pool plastering in California has something called gold dust. They have not returned my calls for information. Does anyone know what this gold dust is? Does anyone know of a product that I can throw on to wet pool plaster to get a gold and glitter effect? The glitter needs to not discolor with pool chlorine

like buzz said, gold glitter from craft shop but to apply it use a hairdryer. toss the glitter up or above the plaster the hit it with the dryer. don't know if it will work with plaster but it works with stucco.

Sounds beautiful but suspect there may be a fall out problem...

Definitely test glitter with chlorine for reactions...

Good luck with it!

Thought of rocks with high mica content???

Afraid of chlorine, sunlight reactions... sounds too cool though!

Any craft shop will sell you gold glitter but it will have to be blown onto wet render so as not to disapear into it... then very lightly troweled in...
