My pineapple plant has tiny flies and bugs in the soil and flying around my house. I can't get rid of then.

Any tips for removing old wallpaper from plaster walls? These are genuine plaster walls (not drywall) so I am afraid to get them wet. My other big concern is pulling chunks of plaster off and having a big job to fill holes.

I thought if someway the float was adjusted in the tank that would adjust the water level in the bowl? Not sure how to do it though. The toilet bowl is so full that it looks like it will overflow when it is flushed. Thanks you!

My upstairs toilet barely flushes. When I flush, it fills, then slowly drains. I've checked the tank and everything seems to be working all right in there. I've even tried a plunger, just in case. Anyone have any advice?

I have contacted Viking, they don't sell to the public and recommended Viking supplynet, who does not sell to the public and recommended two local contracts who do not sell to the public. I am at a complete loss here. Any help would be appreciated.

we use granular salt in our water but the imersion heaters lasts about 6 months. test on the water shows all is fine as we have our own bore hole.we had a specialist in who says that the heaters need to be taken out when the cylinder is not in use, surely this is not right.

I have long hair and it falls on the floor everyday when I brush my hair. Is there an easy way other than using my hands to pick it up? By the way, vacuum can't be applied to the floor. Thank you!

Well, this is a problem we all deal with:

Cotton clothes shrinking down almost three sizes in the wash

I want to know if any awesome person out there knows a way to prevent this?

Is there a certain way to wash them (using a machine please, no one has time to do it by hand), or a certain detergent, etc?

Thanks

I was wondering just how much expanding foam is supposed to be squeezed into the gaps around the window frame that were apparent when my girlfriends windows were installed. I found it difficult to believe that you should still light and a lot of gap outside just before the application of the plastic cover on top of the frame. The windows were filled with some expanding foam which the workman said was to insulate around the frame and to hold the window tight in place. I would like to know if this is correct because im worried about noise and insulation. Thankyou.

The man who owned by house before me painted the walls with a "suede" finish - which is kind of rough. What do I need to do to get a smooth, finished looking paint job?
