depends on what you want to spend...the best bang for the buck is the american traditions by valspar, if you want a premium paint that goes on like glass and touches up well and the color doesn't fade, get pratt and lamperts accolade.I am a painting contractor and have used hundredes and these are my two favorites

I use American Traditions at Lowes -- I have used it in all my remodeling projects in my own residence, and find it very consistent in color, easy to clean up and just lasts a good long time.
What I would suggest -- is the Latex Paints, and that you NOT use Flat. I use the Eggshell or Satin Finish Varieties -- they allow me to be able to clean the surface from things like fingerprints and dirt very easily.

Benjamin Moore rocks....MArtin Senour is good too.
STAY AWAY from Behr.....it "behr-ly" stays on the wall.
