First of all find the way it got in there in the first place and be prepared with all the supplies to fix that "hole"

Then just before dusk, open it up and let the bat(s) fly out to catch dinner. The light up the inside of the trailer like a bad X-mas dispaly and fix the hole. Leave the camper lit up for a few days and the proble should be fixed.
The bat will find another place to call home if you make it undesireable.

Catch it in a pillowcase or a plastic bag and then release it outside away from your camper. That's all you need to do. By the way, bats are great for killer mosquitoes and blackflies and other nasties, so it's better not to kill them. Then can also carry rabies so it's not a good idea to touch them.

Wait until it goes to sleep, capture it in a coffee can or similar by sliding a piece of cardboard under it's feet as it hangs. Bring the container up over it first. Then go as far as you can from your camper, remove the cardboard and release it back into the wild.

I'd then tack silver crosses all around your camper to keep it from returning.....just joking.

The best way to get them out is to keep them from getting in. If you don't fix the reason the bat got in there then the bat will just return or another one will take its place. Fix window screens, keep windows shut, seal off any cracks/leaks/roof damage.

Once you seal up your camper the heat will usually keep them out as bats prefer a cool place to "Camp" out in.

To get the bat our, open it up and chase it out. They will sense the evacuation route and get out. Not necessary to kill it if you fix the reason/methods it used to get in! Bats eat up the bugs that tend to do the real damage anyway!

ever try to catch a bat? good luck. I've heard mothballs work. but the you'd have to leave a door open and let all knds of other stuff in. You MUST find the hole and fix it. It should fly out about dark if you have the time to sit and watch. Personally i like to smack them with a tennis racket but to each his own.

Light it up inside and out so the bat can not sleep there.
