Spray WD-40 on the area to be cleaned.
Wipe with a soft cloth in a circular motion.
Repeat if necessary.
If some crayon marks remain, wash with a sponge using dish soap and water.
another suggestion:
To get crayons off painted walls, scrape off as much of the crayon as possible with a spatula wrapped with a cloth towel. If you have a high gloss paint, rubbing may dull the painted area. Dab at the marks with a soft cloth dipped in a dry cleaning solvent. It may be necessary to repeat this treatment several times. If this does not work, make a paste of automatic dish
washer soap, apply, and rub gently. If you have crayons on wall paper, gently roll a knead eraser (sold at art-supply stores) over the crayon marks. If the stain remains, crush some white chalk and mix it with dry-cleaning solvent. Lightly sponge the paste against the crayon marks, but do not rub. When it is dry, brush off the excess with a tissue. If this does not work, gently rub with a paste of automatic dish washing soap. With a damp cloth, wipe cleaning chemicals off the wall.
yet another:
Remove crayon marks from painted walls by scrubbing with toothpaste or an ammonia-soaked cloth. Rinse and dry. ***Buy washable crayons for children!
and lastly:
When removing crayon, get out the old hair dryer. Heat up the wax and wipe it off. This is not recommended for wallpaper.
One of these HAS to work. Good luck!

GOO-GONE!!!!! I don't know how I ever lived without it! My daughter is mentally challenged and very frequently she decides the walls are more fun to color than her coloring book. I keep a bottle. I get it from Wal-Mart. You spray it on the wall, let it set for a few seconds, longer if the child colored hard or if it's a red, then, literally just wipe it off. No scrubbing, not even a little elbow grease. It just wipes right off. Even my other kids don't mind helping clean the crayon off the wall now and that's saying a lot!

The magic erasers work great. My daughter drew on her walls and dresser and it took it right off. The red took a bit more work then the the other colors she had used.

1. A damp rag, dipped in baking soda works great! Comes off with little effort (elbow grease that is!).
2. "I also saw on a tv show today that you can use WD-40 to remove crayon marks and then wash the item with dish soap to remove the film."
