I burned my thumb on a lighter when trying to light a candle I already tried ice and running it under cold water, but after the numbness goes away it burns.

Durring the summer i had a lot of really painful cramping in my feet.. i thought maybe it was due to wearing flip flops alot but yesterday while sitting in a movie my foot cramped up again.. luckily it was only the left one... Do you have any idea why this would happen?

I am now in my mid 40's @ the age of 15. ~ I had fallen and really messed my knee up. Still have problems with it to this day. I have had my knee replaced 9 yrs ago after have 10 surgery's on it from the time I was 15 to 19. I am now dealing with a second knee replacement after a BAD Infection. and you want to talk about pain untill you have a infection in the bone I have never had PAIN. I have a IV run every day with antiboitic's in three ways. I am now looking at having a 3rd knee put in. If this infection clears up. if it don't I may have to think about. ~~~~~~~~ having them do something I really don't want to think about. something I have fought all my life to keep from having it done. What I am wanting ? Is to talk with someone about amputation... If there is any one out here that is had a amputation Please get a hold of me .

every morning I wake up with a stuffy nose, no big deal, but today i couldn't even breathe and my throat hurts really really bad..

i am coming up for my review for DLA next year. i have got a deteriating facet joint and i am going to undergo an operation where i get my nerves in my back burnt away which will give me some relief for between 6 to 18months after that the nerves grow back again. the problem i have will be with me for the rest of my life and i am on a number of pills a day and i am in a lot of pain. i am worried that because i am having these injections and will get slight relief for a couple of months that i will be taken off DLA. it is the 1st time i have got DLA so i dont exactly no how the process works the second time round. anybodys thoughts on this subject will be greatly appreciated

Ok. I was having pain in my wrist (right wrist on the very right side) and i went to the hospital after having played tennis with it...the doctor said it was tendonitis and it has been 2 weeks of icing it 3 to 4 times a day for 20 minutes, and resting and not playing with it, and now it still hurts and its going into the top of my hand......any ideas on what it might be and what i can do to get the pain gone?

This has been happening for sometime now. Like yesterday I was tighting in a cable fitting and my hands started to hurt a lot right under my thumbs again. Motions like that bring it the strongest. When I'm not doing anything they're just fine.

3 years ago during the time of weight lifting in gym mistakely I drop that weight by wrong way.from that day I had pain in my shoulder.In xray there is nothing shown so docter said dont worry and said just for massage and painkiller.but after stopping painkiller again it comes.

I have RA. I get Shoulder Tendonitis over and over. I am on Methotrexate and Enbrel. I also take prednisone. I get injections in my shoulder when I get a flair up. i just wish I knew if someone was going through the same, and what they have been told?

My new friend (we are 50 ish and new neighbors) her husband has been mentally disabled since head injury eight years ago and he has lots of pain and has tried to remedy with surgery. I am amatuer holistic and wonder if there is any safe comfort I can offer.
