okay a headache is pain in your head like if somebody punched you in the stomach but in the head and the feeling you would get afterward.
Now a migraine can very from person to person, but when I have a migraine I wish I could just die. To relate Imagine drinking the coldest milkshake you have ever drank and when you hit the brain freeze instead of stopping you drink faster for about three days now you do this after drinking about three liters of jack daniels, yes you want to puke everywhere and anywhere your dizzy an imagine a headlight in each eye one bright and your mother on pissed of mode screaming 2 inches from each ear. That just begins to slightly describe what a migraine feels like to me. Everything from intense pain and pressure, to sensitivity to light, smell, sound and dizziness followed by then game of twenty questions if you require any treatment. Well I've tried to give you my perspective on what a migraine feels like, but yet it is hard to put into words, though without treatment all roads lead one place...Suicide

Is very simple... migraine is a misnomer.. It is Migraine Syndrome.. meaning it has many other symptoms along with it. Can be as many as 12 of them. To account for the 12 cranial nerves which are affected by this syndrome. It also involves changes in the autonomic nervous system which causes dilation of the pupils (bright lights cause pain) and blood vessels. Not to discount other effects from that system.

a migrane is so intense that even the softest sound, sounds like an explosion. Lights seem brighter, the littlest things (that you could usually handle) become irritating. They are really not even close in pain. Headaches can be lessened by medicine, migranes usually take sleep.

A mirgrane makes you naucious(sp?) you become sensetive to sound and light. It happens when the veins in your head inflame or something like that. Headaches arn't usually as painful and do not make you sensitive to noise and light to the same degree as migranes.

I've never had a migrane, but from what I've been told is a migrane your head hurts bad, you can be sick to your stomach, even get sick....the best thing for a migrane is sleep. A headache hurts, but tylenol usually takes care of it.
