I agree with the previous answerer. I was having a terrific ear ache a few years ago. When I called my doctor, he asked me if I had had any dental work done recently. I had! He told me to use an ice pack on the tooth and gums where the dental work was. After a couple of days the ear pain went away. You may have a tooth infection. The nerves in the mouth and ears are intertwined, as I understand it.

Have you been to the dentist? I had the same thing and found out that my wisdom tooth on that side was infected and decayed even though it was not all the way through my gums...Once they took them out, my earaches went completely away. Maybe this will help.
