Garlic contains Oils that are hard to digest for some people, and the acid in the stomach has trouble with for most people.

they are acidic....try drinking milk when you eat that stuff and take some tums to help with the heartburn.

Your digestive tract is not geared for something that they contain. You might try acidophilus, or other enzymatic stimulants to help you digest whatever it is you can't digest now.
