Ultracet is a combination drug mug like Percocet using an opioid based drug and Tylenol however the opioid drug is Ultram or tramadol HCL a manipulated version of the codeine molecule that is supposed to be non addictive and unfortunately is a rather weak pain drug. The opioid derivative in Percocet is oxycodone which is another manipulation of the codeine molecule but this drug is very addictive and is a very strong pain reliever.
Ultracet is indicated for mild to moderate pain relief while Percocet is indicated for use in moderate to severe pain.
Ultracet is a Schedule IV drug where as Percocet is a Schedule II narcotic.
