I have RA. I get Shoulder Tendonitis over and over. I am on Methotrexate and Enbrel. I also take prednisone. I get injections in my shoulder when I get a flair up. i just wish I knew if someone was going through the same, and what they have been told?

I am so sorry you have RA and shoulder Tendonitis. I haven't had the RA at least not diagnosed.

The shoulder is a tricky joint. Have you tried ice or heat to alleviate some of the pain? Some people say cold is bad for RA, but hey,if you try it and it helps all the better. Heat may help too.

Have you had any Physical Therapy? If your doc and insurance will order/cover it, I'd check it out. Sometimes some simple stretches or exersizes can help.

Take care!
