Pain & Pain Management - October 2006

I have very painful cramping and stabbing pains in the top part of my stomach, it's not lower stomach, and when it contracts I feel like I want to be sick its been going on for 4 days and I'm having trouble eating it's even hard to breath at times, it's not my chest either though it's below my breasts from the centre

I got prescribed valium for a muscle spasm in my back/neck that was incredibly painful. Anyone have advice on Valium, I knwo it has a reputation and Im kind of worried to be taking it.

recently ive been getting these sharp pains in the left part of my chest, i believe it my left lung. It comes and goes and it only hurts when i try and breathe in. If anyone has or has had this problem could you shine some light on it?

i have had pain in my right leg for some time it seems to be situated in my lower back right hand side around the hip area and often down the length of my leg to the shin area. some days its not too bad and somedays it can be real painfull. it is most noticable when i have been sitting and then stand up i have to kind of gently straighten out my leg before i can move off on it. the other leg is fine. i belive this is sciatica? and if so is it curable

Sitting or lying down makes the pain worse.

Myears have been giving me trouble for a while, but it recently got worse. They are constantly stopped up. If I yawn or move my jaw, it stops, but a second later they are stopped up again. They also ache really bad, especially when someone talks loudly. Some times, its a dull ache in my eas and upper neck, then it's a really piercing pain that comes from the middle of my head. This summer before its gotten worse, my doctor told me it was from blowing my nose, and that holding my nose and blowing will help, but it didn't. I haven't had a cold since early July, but my ears have gotten worse...

I have a really sharp pain on my right side whenever i move or breathe in deeply. I just noticed it when I got up this morning. it hurts especially when i try to twist from the waist. I was thinking it might be a pinched nerve but am not too sure...any ideas?

I am pregnant. so it can't be anything i can't eat or take. but yesturday morning i woke up with this ear infection. And i can not get in the doctors until tomorrow. It hurts so bad and i can barley move my jaw with out pain. I used to get ear infections all the time so i know that this is indeed one. PLEASE HELP!!

I have a throbbing pain on the right side of my jaw above and below it as well to my upper neck and ear and eye for the past few days. The pain keeps me up at night and I wish I could just knock myself out. I thought maybe I was flossing too hard before bed so I tried doing that in the morning. I'm worrying that I have a tumor from gum disease, a stroke (both my grandfathers died of heart disease), or MS.

I was prescribed tylenol with codeine for my widsom teeth today and im just wondering if it is going to make me really tired and want to sleep cause i have work tomorrow and might take it during the day? or is that a bad idea?
