Pain & Pain Management - October 2006

Lately I have not been feeling well. (Body aches, head aches.. Most of which I thought were the flu) In the past 2 days, my thigh bones SEVERLY hurt.

I'm only 22 years old and I can't sit,squat,or lay down.. Only standing makes it feel better, and even then, it's not 100%.. I feel like I'm 90. (Try to lighten up the situation... :) )

What could this possibly be?
Has anyone ever experienced this?

When I have any shoes other than tennis shoes on, my heel feels like I have charlie-horses, mixed with a searing pain. When I don't have any shoes on, I occasionally get the searing pain, but mostly it is a very great sensitivity around my heel. With tennis shoes it normally isn't a problem, except when the tennis shoes aren't tight.
Any suggestions as to what's wrong with my heel?

I am having pain in my right side. I originally thought it was my ribs but I can press on my ribs and it doesn't change anything. The pain is under my arm even with the center of my breast. Any ideas?

wake up with foot and or ankle turned in an awkward position. Also feet will curl upwards and cannot put any weight on them

Yesterday I woke up with a very stiff neck. I have experienced this many times before but this time it was HORRIBLE. I have some mobility in my neck, and the pain doesn't necessarily happen when I move my neck. I can be motionless and all of a sudden, a jolt of pain will run through my neck and head. It feels like electricity. The pain also happens when I walk at a normal pace, or lift my arms.

Could this just be stiff neck due to poor sleep?

over the past week i have had sharp pains in the center of my stomach. i am 49 and have no gallbladder and no i am not pregnant. there is no ryme or reason for this pain, accompaning the pain is diarreha. food has nothing to do with it either. if i eat it hurts, if i don't eat it hurts. its not to the left or the right but dead center. i have no fever to go with it. its just above the belly button and it is painful. can any one help me

The only pharmacy I could afford to go to was shut down by the DEA this past Wednesday. I'm afraid I won't be able to afford my medication at other pharmacies. I've priced other pharmacies in the area and the cost to fill my prescriptions are triple the cost or more. I don't have medical coverage and am disabled. I have been applying for Supplemental Security Income and Medicaid but have not been accepted yet.

Woke up Thursday morning with a stiff neck which is unusual. It got worse over the day. The next morning it really hurt and I couldn't move my head left or right and could slightly move it up and down. Saturday morning it kept jarring without warning and it was hurting to swallow, during the day my next started to swell and I had no neck. Doctor said my muscle had siezed, to take the tables there was nothing more to do.

I have been given diazepam and diclofenac. I do not much much about either of these apart from basic internet searches. Would like to hear from anyone that has had a similar experience and what worked or didn't work to help movement and pain. Not being able to swallow is the worst part - the tablets have helped although it is still restrictive.

i training for this race in december, today at morning i ran 5 lAPS,
then sudenly i felt this pain in my left leg, i warmed up before running(stretching) today the pain in my leg contin ues its been like this for 1 week already, cause after you ran your muscles constarct really fast so you gotta keep them warm.

Have really bad sinus pain... upper right teeth hurt and I feel like ripping them out. Went to the doctors yesterday, got on an antibiotic. Been taking ibuprofen for the pain and it's just barely taking the edge off the pain. Got any other suggestions I can do other than bang my face against the wall?

Edit: got a dental xray to rule out abscessed tooth. :)
