Lately I have not been feeling well. (Body aches, head aches.. Most of which I thought were the flu) In the past 2 days, my thigh bones SEVERLY hurt.

I'm only 22 years old and I can't sit, squat,or lay down.. Only standing makes it feel better, and even then, it's not 100%.. I feel like I'm 90. (Try to lighten up the situation... :) )

What could this possibly be?
Has anyone ever experienced this?

I don't mean to sound rude, but Sshahraz... How much more specific can I get... I HURT.. and "don't take anything.."

I think you should stay away from the medical questions seeings as you may do HARM to someone. I'm taking Tylenol and it's NOT helping.... Leave the answering to the other people in here.. You're not a help..

Thank you to everyone else. Very helpful so far.

Unless you've severely beat up on yourself through sports or an accident of some sort, I question you have arthritis. Arthritis is a disease of aging, and we all get it as we age to some degree or another. I agree that you should see a doctor, but may I make a suggestion? I'd see a good massage therapist who also does acupuncture first. If this therapist has been trained in Chinese medicine, s/he will be able to do diagnostics that aren't used in western medicine and can possibly tell you what's going on and whether the methods s/he can offer will help or whether you need to go to an orthopod. I have found this approach to be a good one through my 63+ years, and I take very little medicine as a result and feel quite well. I have felt like I was 90+ years old twice in my life, too, and could hardly walk. In both situations I sought out an acupuncturist and, fortunately, that method worked and I didn't need to go any further. While you're waiting to be seen by anyone at all, try soaking in a hot bath with Epson Salts (follow the directions on the package)...a proven old-time pain reliever. Best of luck to you - I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Well, there is a number of things that could cause this. "Bone pain" can be very serious. You have given enough infor to tell me you need to see someone for this. I am not going to scare you with what can cause bone pain, but it is very serious and needs to be checked out immediately. Now, on the other hand, poor diet can cause our entire body to hurt. Have you heard of the term fibromyalgia? That is a condition made up by MD's because they had to label chronic pain patients with something. Well, that has everything to do with emotional stress and chemical stress from diet. Once a person changes their diet, they get better. I would highly recomend you get checked out by a physician. You need to make sure you do not have something terrible going on.

What you are saying is not specific enough for any specific guidance. Even if somebody experiences it before you won't rely on that experience.
If you do not have fever then you can wait for some more days and see if it starts improving (usually it does).
Do not try any medications becuase they usually hide the natural history of the condition. If it is not tolerable, then seek a healthcare and have your body examined by a doctor.

It sounds like arthritis. See an orthopedist.
