it's just strained but it kind of hurts

RICE!

R= Rest
I= ice it (15 minutes on 15 minutes off)
C= Compression (the 15 minutes your ice is off use a towel, wrap it around your ankle so to compress the tendon)
E= elevate the ankle when you are resting

Try to stay off the ankle today.

You need to rest it. No jumping, running or other strenuous activity. ICE and anti-inflammatories will also help. This is really important because overdoing it can put you at risk for an achilles tendon rupture, which will usually require surgery and a cast for 3-6 months. If the pain persists, follow up with your doctor.

Probably got it out of playing badminton? Rest is the best. If you get better, do proper warm up exercises before any strenuous sports.
