I was training my biceps 4-5 days ago when I felt weird continuous pain in my right biceps. That pain can actually reach my thumb so I thought maybe the muscle is pressing on a nerve or something .. so I stopped the exercise immediately.

After 2 days, I thought I'd give it a try, .. the pain still there.

Today, I felt the same pain again so I tried to track it's exact location. It's exactly UNDER my right biceps, when I pressed there I felt nerve pain throughout my arm (y'know, the same pain when you hit your ulnar nerve (elbow) against something) but the pain I felt from exercising is different, it's constant and it's not sudden.

What exactly happened? :S
Is it serious?

My left foot completely twisted in under all my body weight when I fell to the ground...It happened on Thursday morning while I walked my dog....now it is Monday night...It is still swollen and sore to the touch..if pressed on with fingers it can hurt....I'm still limping.... It is swollen on both sides of the ankle but more on the latteral side....... What could be the problem??? Is it more than just a bad sprain? How long should i wait until I get an Xray? I don't have health insurance and I aint rich....so don't say I should just go out and spend every last dime I have on some Xrays...

I fell down a flight of wooden stairs, not once but twice. After the 2nd fall I call the landlord and told her she needs to get a handrail in here for me. She had one installed that week. That was 18 months ago. The problem, I did not seek medical treatment figuring a sore tailbone heals within 6 mos. to a year depending on injury. It is very sore to this day. I feel like I need a walker to get out of my car. I was even told I walk funny! So the thing is, if I go get x-rays and it turns out to be something serious, would the landlord be partically responsible for any medical treatment or has too much time elapsed?

Lump is hard and feels like bone. It is under the skin on the outside of my right foot. Closer to ankle than to toes. Have pain in that foot and it is hard to walk up stairs by the end of the day. Had a bone chip that had calcium build up on it in my ankle joint - think this might be it and that it has moved?

I have been walking for excersize and about a week ago I think I pulled a muscle on the outside of my left foot. It hurts to walk on it however it just throbs when I am sitting. Any suggestions to make it feel better. I have tried rubbing it, but that does not help.
I do a lot of walking and sitting at my job, so I am willing to try almost anything!!

Please help.

I was helping a friend wash their truck when the paint started to rub off onto the cloth, very soon after, I was spraying the paint off of the cloth into a bucket, and the water went right into my eye, I was wondering if it would be possible to get lead poisoning from this since I know alot of paints for automobiles have lead in them.

I've gone two entire weeks without cutting, and I'm using the alternatives suggested in therapy,i.e snapping an elastic band, drawing on myself with red pen, etc. But right now I feel the urge BADLY and there's no one to talk to about it. I don't want to but yet at the same time I do. Will anyone take some time to just IM and give advice and distract me from this? Thank you so much.

I think I strained a muscle around my right scapula 3 day ago when I was trying to get out of the back of my van with a sudden move. Since then, I have a muscle pain from that area. Muscle pain aside, what really hurts is breathing. I suffer a great amount of pain when I take a deep breath or when I sneeze. This problem was never present before the injury. Do you think I should go see a doctor or should I just rest?

The third finger of my left hand was bent back badly while surfing on July 5, 2007. The big knuckle is still noticeably sore and swollen. I've had x-rays and an MRI which indicate no fracture. I don't know what to do next but the injury seems to be not getting better?

My cat lives in the garage. All day she has been crying for attention. It's almost bedtime so I went into the garage to get the last of the laundry and decided to let her get on my lap.

She doesn't like to be held. She was sitting there purring and kneeding my pj's with her paws while I petted her. Suddenly she whipped around and bit me real hard. I was bleeding all over the place. My husband cleaned and wrapped up my finger for me. Now I can barely type. What's the danger from a cat bite?

I am wondering if someone with a medical background could answer this. I just heard a story about someone who was shocked by an 8000 volt power line while putting up an antenna in a light drizzle. He claims he was bleeding from his eyes, ears and nose and from capillaries in his chest. He also says his shoes were blown off his feet.

I am skeptical about his story though and wanted to see if this guy is lying or if all that really can happen.

Tues evng i fell & sprained my left foot on the top & bottom arch of my foot, no broken bones. It hurts to walk on my foot or even apply pressure on it, I can't even use the ball of my foot for balance. Im not a light weight so carrying my weight around is tiresome worse when using crutches. A) I'm just trying to figure out when can i start walking again and how do i speed up the recov process time aside from the RICE therapy? I live on the 2nd floor of my building so going up and down the stairs takes forever & i cant seem to do it right (B. what is the easiest way to go up & down the stairs). On Sat i was going up & down my stairts using one crutch, i slipped & put all the pressure on my sprained foot. I felt pain & fell over (luckily not down the stairs), but when I looked on the inner arch under my foot it started turning black and blue. C) Did i tear a ligament??? Being an active person on foot, trying to stay home is hard. D) Is there any other way aside from RICE any exercises?

Everyday, I ride the bus from my house to school and coming back home. While I am on the bus, I notice that it is always rocking up and down. Although all buses shake a little bit, this bus does it constantly, and I feel like I am always vibrating. I was wondering if this long term exposure to this can cause injury/damage to the brain?

I was in a hurry and opening the car door fast and I sneezed at the same time so I hit my head really hard right at the hairline above the outside corner of my eye. My eyes went black and I thought I might pass out but after 20-30 seconds it passed. I then had a weird little spell of forgetfulness (I thought I forgot my baby at home when I had actually already dropped him off). I think I am ok now but my head is really sore and I have a constant headache. Also, if I touch the bump I get dizzy. Is this normal with a goose egg or should I go to the doctor? Besides that I feel fine, just sleepy though!

I herniated two discs in my lower back and have experienced tremendous back & leg pain. I can no longer enjoy many activities I used to - and I am only 25. Should I settle my worker's comp claim? I've heard that receiving treatment through the worker's comp "system" is horrible. How much money should I expect in this settlement?
