Well Granny I would recommend you seek medical attention. Cat wounds are more likely to get infected and it is believed that this is due to the puncture type wound. A cats saliva is known to have a wide variety of bacteria.
The consequences of infection can be mild to life threatening. By seeking medical attention your doctor will be able to treat you with antibiotics.

Your latest cat was hit, thrown, had things thrown at it - of course it doesn't want any human contact! DON'T try to pet, stroke or go near it. IF and WHEN the cat is ready to (it may take YEARS, or it may NEVER be ready), allow it to come to you. NEVER punish the cat. NO cat should be picked up by the scruff of the neck, either - only mother cats should ever do that. No cat should ever be put into a carrier as a punishment - they will associate the carrier as something to be feared, which won't be very useful when you need to get it to a vet. As for feeding 3 cats in a row - cats should be fed AWAY from each other. I've got 3, and although theya re all fed at the same time, the dishes are apart. One at one end of the dining room, another at the other end, and one in the middle (laminate flooring, with wipeable place mats under the dishes) You do NOT understand cats at all.

Cat bites are actually very bad when they break the skin. You will need to see your Dr. and get on an antibiotic. Even a cat that has had all of it's shots can cause you problems. It's just something about the germs and bacteria in a cat's mouth.

Not much. Peroxide, alcohol, maybe a topical balm and a band-aid. What the cat was feeling was the anxiety you were radiating and being ready to go to bed. Cats pick up these vibes. So, just to let you know that she still owned you, she bit you to remind you of the fact that you cannot keep treating her like she is the pet. She isn't, you are.

well infection for one thing. If your cat has not had her shots than there are dangers of illness. If the cat has not had shots you need to see a dr. The fact that it bled a lot is a GOOD sign however. at any rate disinfect it with peroxide and put like neosporin on it and watch it and your health.

You can get a pretty bad infection from a cat bite, even from a pet cat. You need to go to the doctor to get antibiotics as soon as possible.

You need to soak that bite in some hydrogen peroxide and make sure it doesn't get infected! My father got bit on his finger by our cat and his finger swelled up twice it's normal size and never looked the same after that!

Cat bites are very infectious. I am not joking when I tell you to call your doctor and tell him/her you have been bitten by your cat and need treatment.
We see more pts than I can count admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics from cat bites.
Cats have the nastiest bites and I think their fangs are colonized with bacteria or something because if you are cat bit, it makes you close to septic.
Call your doctor
