i wonder if anyone can help i was playing my usual football game on friday night. at one point in the game i felt like i over extended my knee. i have a little bit of pain, i can pretty much walk ans weight bear normally. however, when i bend my knee i get this incredible tightness behind my knee. any ideas?

I'm fifteen and for about a month I have an odd sensation in my left hand pinky that I can only describe as numbness. It's almost as if my hand fell asleep, that kind of tingling feeling, but it won't go away. I'm right handed, by the way.

My mom had Carpal Tunnel surgery about a year ago. She was in her early forties, and has a history of severe arthritis since childhood (if that's important at all). For about two years before surgery she complained of numbness and tingling in her hand. Later on it turned to burning and shooting pains. It affected her forefinger, middle finger and ring finger. She never specifically mentioned her pinky.

I play several instruments, type stories on my computer sometimes for hours on end, embroider only with my left hand, and I'm afraid it might be something like carpal tunnel. My mom had surgery, and the sensations are gone but she cannot sew anymore and complains that her hand is weaker than it was.

Does it sound like Carpal Tunnel? What can I do?

my friend peirced it for me. and i slept in the ring for two nights. and it was okay. but then i woke up one morning and it was still swolen.. so i took it out. and there was a black hole in my lip. it looked like dirt. but it wouldnt come out. then a few days later i was pickin at it and i got a little bit of the black thing out.. so now its just a sore.. anyone know what could have caused it to do this?? its really strange i think.

we're in the los angeles area and it's friday and all of the veterinary clinics are closed. my friend's dad was using a cleaning chemical known as mr.clean and he left a puddle on the ground and the dog started playing in it. it's eyes are swelled up and when my friend tries to put ice on it or water.. it pushes his hands away. what can we do?

I had to save my cat from a cat fight today and of course, I got scratched all up my arms. Dumb, I know, but I wasn't going to watch my kitty get beat up by a much bigger cat ^.^ The problem is, i'm in a wedidng next week and now it's going to look like I was in a knife fight! Eeek! How could I possibly go about covering up my battle wounds on the day of the wedding? Any suggestions on speeding up the healing process? ANY suggestions would be great! :)

I'm going to shut my eyes for a while as soon as I finish typing this and see if it will go away. I recall people who get migrane headaches talk of this. It ssems to be swirling and is more to my left than right. That's how I'm able to type this. Outside light really messes up this whole undescribable image and makes it worse. I'm going to lay down a while and come back and read the answers. Hopefully it will be gone. This is the first time anything llike this has happened to me. Thanks for any ideas of what it could be.

I had a sciatica injury 3 years ago ( It afficted my left side ) and noticed that my legs and Butt get more pumped on the right side than the left. What type of therapy/Excersise' should I do
to equalize my workouts.

Came to see him in the first place? I did....had a Fractured Ankle if not two, fractured and one broken.... of them from a tumble down the stairs, went to ER and they nearly laughed at me. Three weeks later, still VERY hard to walk, I got a letter stating that I had a broken ankle. I went back...they suited me up with a jerry-rigged aparatus, and when i went to my physician, I think he smelled a lawsuit...i wouldn't have sued then....then he dropped me like THAT!!!! he said to get rid of my crutches, etc....now i cannot walk more than three blocks.....anything like this ever happen to you?NOW I am livid.....how about you?????
NOW I am ready to sue!!!

I am flat-footed and when I put pressure on my left ankle it feels like it is totally flat. It feels like it is collapsed. It hurts a little. But it feels like the slightest bit of more pressure or twist, will break it easily. What does this sound like?
