Well, it may be a little late for this, but for future reference, the main thing is to treat the burn promptly, as the scarring will be worse if treatment is delayed.

First take the heat out of the burn quickly by applying cold water for at least ten minutes: longer if possible. Flowing water from a tap is best.

Don't apply ice directly as it can cause further damage to the skin.

The cold water will also relieve some of the pain and prevent swelling.

After the initial trauma has subsided, make sure the wound is clean. If there is a danger of infection, get a jab from the doctor.

If the skin is broken the wound shouldn't be covered (unless there is bleeding, of course).

Once the outer layer of skin has started to heal, in a day or so, you can start applying the aloe vera or vitamin e oil.

I have found that Vit E doesn't work on scars that are more than a couple of weeks old.

Whenever I have been burned cooking or sunburned I carried around a broken off piece of aloe plant and rubbed it on my skin several times a day. I really felt the differents regarding pain. I am sorry but cannot answer either of what you wanted addressed such as scarring of quick healing. I know it hurts though. Keep a piece of aloe plant in a ziplock baggie with you to keep it from drying out and just apply it whenever you start to feel the pan worsen (several times a day) Good luck!

I'm a guy and I agree with you completely. I value love far more than I do lust. Do things together as friends, then work on a romantic relationship. Do you enjoy the same foods, hobbies, concerts, music and theater? It takes time and effort to find out if you are compatible or not. Personally, I like the wonderment and anticipation of a possible romantic relationship.

Get a very high quality vitamin E cream with at least 10,000 IU and apply it several times a day. You may want to lightly cover it with gauze so it doesn't get on clothing.

Many years ago, I sustained a nasty grease burn on my hands and used the cream. You cannot tell I was ever burned.

Time is the only true healer, but once healing has started - keep it moisturized. Vitamin E (from a capsule) is pretty good.
