my friend peirced it for me. and i slept in the ring for two nights. and it was okay. but then i woke up one morning and it was still swolen.. so i took it out. and there was a black hole in my lip. it looked like dirt. but it wouldnt come out. then a few days later i was pickin at it and i got a little bit of the black thing out.. so now its just a sore.. anyone know what could have caused it to do this?? its really strange i think.

What caused it was having a friend do it instead of having someone who knows what they are doing do it.
You have an infection, use antibiotic ointment on it, and check out the inside of the wound as well.

sounds like to me you have an infection of the site. you will need to get meds to clear it up but its very important to keep it clean. watch for redness and swelling. if it continues you need to go in to the doc
