I was helping a friend wash their truck when the paint started to rub off onto the cloth, very soon after, I was spraying the paint off of the cloth into a bucket, and the water went right into my eye, I was wondering if it would be possible to get lead poisoning from this since I know alot of paints for automobiles have lead in them.

Lead paint is not used on cars. At least not in any modern, civilized country.

I wouldn't worry about lead, but an eye infection due to the dirty water and paint on it. Did you rinse it thoroughly? If it bothers ou go the eye Dr.

No, it's so indirect that you won't get lead poisoning. Don't worry about that.

I would suggest getting your eye flushed out though, it may help. I had hot-sauce in my eye once (Claimed to be the second hottest in the world...), and I could've very well gotten an infection if I didn't get it flushed out. Even after it stopped burning.
