I think I strained a muscle around my right scapula 3 day ago when I was trying to get out of the back of my van with a sudden move. Since then, I have a muscle pain from that area. Muscle pain aside, what really hurts is breathing. I suffer a great amount of pain when I take a deep breath or when I sneeze. This problem was never present before the injury. Do you think I should go see a doctor or should I just rest?

I would actually go see a chiropractor. One time I did a sudden movement and after that I could hardly breath, or even walk up the stairs. Sneezing nearly made me pass out! So, I went to the chiropractor and found out that my vertebrate that corresponds to shoulder blade was out of place. Two treatments later and I was totally better.
All the best to you! I hope you get better soon! =)

Since all tissues and nerves are inter connected in some ways, maybe the blood circulation is affected by the strain. Advisable to seek professional advice!
