5 weeks back I slipped a few steps while climbing down the stair. I immediately went to a bone clinic, Doctor took out 3 x rays and found that a hair line crack has occured in my foot bone. He was over confident and did not apply plaster and advise me to try to walk and assured me of no major damage. He gave me an anti inflamatory pain killer (Caflam 50 mg) and FASTUM GEL to apply 3 times a day and assured me that within 2 weeks it will be over. And also advise me to resume my daily routine i.e. going to work after 2/3 days. But 5 weeks has passed and pain persists, sometime severe, around and below the ankle. My apartment is on 4th floor (without elevator) and I have to attend to my work 5 days a week. During this period I visited the doctor 2/3 times again and he was confident that there is nothing serious and I should not worry and try to walk normally. But I know the pain and sometimes find hard to walk when the road surface is uneven. Kindly advise.

I injured myself in mid July but no fracture noted. After going to a specialist 2 weeks ago it was diagnosed as a lisfranc injury. I was then told to wear the camboot till 9-28 and then take it from there. Well, when I went 2 weeks ago the majority of my pain had dissipated but I knew something was wrong being it did still hurt 6 weeks later but NOW 2 weeks after being in the boot, my foot is hurting quite a bit again!!! What happened? And now I no longer have hope that the boot will work. I'm pretty sure there is going to be further SOMETHING......possible surgery the doctor said with screws and pins .......AND THERE ISNT EVEN A VISIBLE FRACTURE!!! What is up with that!!! How can this be soo BIZARRE!!! Please help with ANY info about this injury you might have.

Please read before you answer. With Autism Allegories asthma, ADD ADHD and many other childhood aliments at epidemic levels most with unknown or yet to be defined causes, why would anyone want take the risk of these vaccinations for childhood diseases that were a rite of passage for past generation building natural immunity? Please don’t tell me you’re required to have them to get into school. There are forms parents can fill out to opt out of this forced medical care, IV’E DONE IT and my kids 21 & 25 never got sick or had an ear infection, no allegories no asthma no ADD or ADHD. Is it really worth the risk with so much damage being caused by unknown causes? There is no smoking gun but there is one common denominator most all children are vaccinated? Drug companies have the CDC in their pocket and thrilled about all the life time business they appear to be generating
There’s no worse feeling for a parent intending to protect their children but harm them permanently.

I've had one.

I was in 4th grade and a boy got mad at me. He pushed me, I kicked him, he hit my arm, I spit on him, and he punched me in the face. Wow! Course I did spit on him so I guess I deserved it. lol Well, that was the only time. I never got into another fight.

What's your story?

I found out today I have a foot sprain and was sent home with my ankle wrapped, a splint, and crutches. I was told to stay off of it for 1-2 weeks. The problem with that is I have a job interview at a day care tomorrow and there is no way to work at a day care while on crutches. Would it be ok to just keep it wrapped and use the splint while at work if I get the job or should I go ahead and stay off of it, and be guaranteed not to get the job?
