It's severly swollen and in excrusiating pain. If it's broken will the doctor cast it or brace it?

I had a bi-lateral malleolar fracture that was surgically repaired with plates and screws four weeks ago. The hard cast is now off, and I am in a removable cast with crutches. The thing is, I have no pain. I'm not complaining. The ankle is still somewhat swollen, but the joints seem to have a full range of motion with no pain--that foot feels little different from the other foot, which is uninjured. I can stand on both feet with no pain, either while standing or afterwards. My surgeon suggests that I could begin weight-bearing in a week or two, "as your pain level permits", but my pain level right now, at four weeks, is essentially non-existant. Would I do damage by weight-bearing now, with the cast on?

I don't see any discoloration on the eye itself or anywhere else. Just touching my lower eyelid hurts a little bit. Should I put heat? If so, how long? Any help would be appreciated.

I must have ate too much or waited too long to go to the bathroom, because I got a rectal fissure.

I've had one once or twice before, but this one is much worse. There is a lot of blood with every movement. There is enough blood to tint the toilet water. And there is a considerable amount of thick, mucously blood when I whipe.

The pain doesn't bother me, just the idea that this won't heal does. What can I do about this? Would fasting for a few days help?

Im a 25 year old male in excellent health with no other problems... What are some things I could do to speed up the healing process?

[please don't say "go to the doctor", I don't have health insurance]

On Tuesday I noticed my 12 week old daughters small toe was very swollen and red. On investigation I found that there appeared to be something very fine around her toe. I removed what appeared to be a fine white thread. I looked at the inside of her socks and found that the thread had come from them and there were numerous threads that could come away easily. The thread had wrapped around her toe and was compromising the circulation and caused the toe to swell 3 times its normal size. I took her to the doctors who sent her to Yorkhill sick kids hospital. She had to undergo surgery under a general anaesthetic to revive the circulation in her toe. Apparently this has happened before and the hospitals have policies on clothing they put on babies because of this. I am thinking about taking this further and have been doing various searches to find out guidelines on clothing and any cases of this before but cannot find anything. So I am asking if anyone can help with any ideas?

I have had this on and off for 16 years now but the last time i had it bad was a few years ago and now it's back again. i have terrible pain in my wrist and the base of my thumb, it hurts when i pick something heavy up and if i pick something up at the wrong angle, the pain is really bad, the pains can sometimes go all the way up my arm and has kept me awake at night at time, this has been going on for 3 days now.a bandage helps a little bit, but as soon as i take it off it hurts again. i know it's not carpal tunnel syndrome, because i know these symptoms, but i dont know the name of this.

I told my boyfriend to grab a paper towel to soak up the blood and he took me literal and instead of grabbing a towel or something to keep the blood from dripping all over the floor he went thru his house to open a back room to peel a paper towel out of a plastic package. I dripped blood all over the kitchen floor, all over the bathroom and in 2 sinks while he searched for a paper towel. I finally grabbed some toilet paper off roll and put pressure on my gushing finger. What do some men think? Am I being too harsh? A kitchen towel would have worked, but I didnt know which drawer was the towel drawer. He slowly went about opening the paper towels. By the way, I am a nurse.
