I got a splinter in my finger but it is too far in to get at it with tweesers. I tried using a needle to break the skin to get to it but it is way to far in with it push itself out.

I posted this cause somebody said If i leave it it can travel to my heart and give me a heart attack.

No, it will simply get infected. You'll get blood poisoning and That will kill you.
Here's an old cure that actually works:
Crack an egg. On the inside of the shell you will see a membrane clinging to the shell that looks like white paper. Strip a piece of this membrane out of the shell and put it on a band-aid and cover the splinter with it. Leave the bandage on overnight. The membrane will shrink as it dries and draw the splinter out by creating a sort of vaccuum suction. It should be out in the morning.
If your finger is sore, soak it in very warm water with Epsom salts.
I know this sounds wierd but it works, I have drawn out many splinters of wood and also steel with this.

The chances of that happening are slim and none. There was an urban myth a long time ago about someone stepping on a needle that eventually found it's way to his shoulder.

If you can't get the splinter out now with a tweezers, and you can tolerate it, your body will eventually force it out on it's own.

The splinter will cause your skin to redden around the area and form pus in it. I don't know about it traveling to your heart, but maybe they mean it can create an infection in your body known as sepsis. Try to get the splinter out with your tweezers if you can. Usually the area will form a callus and then you can get it out.

I suggest you go to the doctor.Living with a splinter in your finger is not very comfortable and it might cause infection. The doctor will just remove it for you. But while the splinter is in your finger, it will be very hard to use that finger. I wonder how u were able to type this question w/ a splinter in your finger...ouch!

I dont think its a splinter, sounds like a blood blister, and just leave it be it will go away in due time, if it were a splinter you would ave a foreign body in your system and you would know by radness, swelling, pain.... then you should apply some Iodine, or Icoprophil alcohol (rubbing) and if you cant extract it, it WILL work its way out soon.

Usually when you get a splinter, it will "beal". which means it will become surounded by body fluids and be pushed to the surface. Otherwise, your body will break it down and absorb it. If it really bothers you, you can go to the doctor and have it removed. I would not "dig" at it, as that may cause infection. You are NOT going to have a heart attack from a splinter. if it gets infected, have it checked out by a medical professional.

Usually something like this will fester (gather matter around it and raise up) and then it will be able to be removed. Usually things the size and density of a splinter will not travel out of the tissue that it is embedded in.

No it wont get it self out so you can use tweezers to get it out. It will make a small infection though. but i think if you clean it with h2o2 and put neosporin and a band-aid on it and it will be fine. and no that fact is not true at all!!!!

Smart splinter remover...just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue-All over the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue.
