well, out yesterday in fact. I was so happy i forgot to ask the doc. for either exercises or a support. Now my question is this: do i in fact need either the exercises or the support?? many thanks

Today when I was doing the lab at school. I spilled sulfuric acid on my hand. It wasn’t a lot, only a big drop, but it was burning and painful. I washed it with water for about 5-7 min. I wanted to know will there be future complications. Is there any treatment I should carry out at home?

well this morning i was playing basketball. and i got mad and punched a wall, thinking it was padded. it was not and i hit wood. right after my wrist was hurting really bad. So after around 6 or 7 hours there is no swelling and i can grip ok. And tommorow i have a golf tournament and the only time my wrist hurts is at the take away and the release so im guessing it has to do with the side of my wrist.
My question is what should i do to get my wrist back in 10 hours so i can play golf tommmorow. There is no swelling, so right now im just going hot-cold-hot-cold. Any ideas?!

Do I need surgery or can this cyst be aspirated? What is the chance of it returning if aspirated? I have pain radiating down the ulna into my hand.

I'm 12. I cut myself and my mom said that I am going to get a tetanus shot and stitches when my dad gets home. The shot is bad enough, I'm freaked out enough about that, but what do they numb you with for stiches???? What do stitches feel like?????

I'm 12. I just cut my hand. My mom says I have to go get stitches and a tetanus shot when my dad gets home. Is there any way to get around it. I HATE SHOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are there any other shots to get with stitches????????????

and it has happened like 4 times this week. i didn't hit my hand .
ON one finger it left a bruise but other ones just hurts.
Can that be serious?
Can that be a sign of a serious desease like HIV?

Five years ago, I fell off my bike and injured my knee. I went to see an orthopedic surgeon who sent me for an MRI, and said that everything was normal, but I still had pain and swelling and I couldn't walk on it. So for four and a half years I've been dealing with the pain and swelling. This past week I went to see another orthopedic, and he looked at the results from the MRI and said the results showed possible torn cartillage(however you spell it). He sent me for another MRI as well as a bone scan this past weekend. Yesterday they told me there was an abnormality behind the kneecap(patella), and for me to continue wearing a knee immobilizer for another three weeks. No amount of any pain medication takes the pain away, or even dulls it, and ice does nothing. Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong? I just need some hints. No one seems to believe me because I don't exhibit pain very well. PLEASE HELP!! I'm only 18, and I can't do anything because of, or for, the pain.

Ouch. I don't believe I'm allergic. I got stung through my glove and this is one of the most painful stings I have gotten. My hand is pretty puffed up and I've read just to ice it. Any other proven ideas appreciated.

I thought I had just slept on my arm wrong. I am going to probably go to a doctor cause its been for about a week. Just wondering if you know what it could be. a little under by shoulder and sometimes where my elbow joins hurts. pain like if my bone was being hit. it hurts a lot but not always. also its mostly when i go to sleep-during the night, and when i just wake up.

i recently had stitches put in my hand and well everyone whos seen them has said they were put in wrong they tug and pull and hurt really bad. i didnt get any antibiodic for them and they look kinda infected how soon can i take them out there supossed to disolve on there own but i dont want to wait if i can avoid it

Ok, so I fell really hard on the floor and my knee was killing me that whole day. Since then, it doesn't hurt as bad, but it is a tad swollen and my knee is covered in a bruise that varies from blue, to yellow-y and in some spots, its like little blue dots. Do you think its just a bruise, or do you think that it could be cracked?
I really don't want to go to the doctor.

k, so i broke my wrist on monday night, and the doctor said it fractured the growth plate, and if i dont see a orthopedic surgen soon, my arm might not grow anymore, well i have a appt. for tomorow (thursday), and i want to know if its too late, and my arm wont grow, or if its fine, also---will i have to have surgery?

I was walking around the house with my toothbrush in my mouth and I turned my head...toothbrush in mouth...and was too close to the door jam and my toothbrush got pushed all the way into the back of my throat. I pulled it out and went to work. As the day is going on I feel horrible. My throat feels very sore and irritated..like I punctured something in my neck and I am feeling very achy, tired and just terrible. Could I have done something when I did this?

I fell down a flight of stairs in 1999 and didn't know that the home owner was responsibile for any/all medical coverage. via her home owners insurance. I had no insurance.

I never asked and she never volunteered the information.

This has been a chronic physical problem for me since then as it was never looked at properly right after the accident. I was a renter at the time. The home owner lived in the same house as well.

Should I pursue this matter through an attorney?
