ago he was bit by a large ant on the foot. At first it got red and swollen, and now it's blisstered. Also he is having leg pains now and is feeling week and sick. Should he go to the doctor? I'm worried. What could it be? Thanks

Yes, do not delay. Get him to the doctor. He could have been bitten by a brown recluse spider. These spiders venom will eat the flesh. If not contained, it will spread, and sometimes, in worst cases, amputation is necessary.

He definitely needs to go to the doctor right away, and also to tell them that he got the bite out of the country, in Thailand.

I seen that before.
That's not a ant bite. Over there the crabs and bedbugs have crossbreed. I'm sure he just got bit while in bed with one of the many Bangkok prostitutes. It's a very common thing over there.

Put Listerine on it it will help it. then take him to the Hospital/Doctor to get him checked out.

sounds more like a brown recluse spider bite. he needs antibotics before it gets worse.
