yes it true and when they find it they will cut u off completely and that why they ask u to bring all meds so they know what ur takeing when they test u this is no joke the there not playing aroung with this either

Yes they do and heaven help you if you get caught doing drugs. Even if the doc prescribed them. I was taking hydrocodone for a severe migraine and the next day I went to work and got knocked out by a machinery malfunction. I almost got fired because I had taken hydrocodone 24 hours before and it was still in my system. I had to let the workmans comp company talk to my regular md to get this straightened out and still almost lost my job. Since that time I have become disabled because of improper medical treatment for that head injury and this one pill still haunts me.

comp doe not have to pay. Also, will lose your job.

It depends on the situation. When there is an accident, drug and alcohol testing is very common to determine if this contributed to the accident.
Someone with a degenerative disease related to work might or might not be tested. Some employers specify drug and alcohol testing after an accident whether Worker's Comp is in volved or not.
The message is simply not to use drugs and/or alcohol at work.

You realize that would include college students who receive financial aid from the government. Government supported grants and loans are welfare. "Financial or other assistance to an individual or family from a city, state or national government." "Receiving financial aid from the government or from private organization because of hardship and need." So, if we're going to drug test the mother working minimum wage or the person who can't find a job, then let's test the college students, and all people who get grants for special projects.
