Stretch the eye open with one hand and rinse it with cold water, repeatedly doing this will bring the particle down to the medilla corner of the eye and it will naturally flow out via our eye secretion.

I have been through the eye particulate thing myself. After a few hours the eye will try to repair itself and cover the object over. You will need to go to an Opthalmologist to have it removed. I have small paticulate "floaters" inside the eye from grinding aviation components and they can be seen moving around inside the eye. Have it checked out since you only get one pair for life. Good luck !

Having been a Marine Engineer for 28 years, these injuries are common.

Get medical attention!!!!

You will be amazed at how much damage can be done by leaving the slightest trace of particals on the eye.

Take Care!

Seek medical aid if the particle does not move when you rinse it, it is probably embedded in the eyeball itself. Take care it is far too easy to do some serious damage.

Grinding particles are very sharp and usually get barbed under the membrane of the eye. YOU SHOULD GO TO A&E straight away.
DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE them yourself as this sometimes pushes them deeper into your eye.

I (having lost one eye due to a particle) strongly suggest a visit to an eye hospital or optician, You could try an eye bath, or swimming under water,

Go to the ER and they can get it out of there. If you try to do this yourself you could cause some harm to your eyeball. Let a professional handle eye problems.

Rinse your eye thoroughly...
if problem persists, ask someone to put his or her tongue in your effected eye & rotate a bit...
it seems nasty or wierd but it works 99% & is 100% safe....
Coz eye is soft, as is the tongue......
& if u still have the problem. consult an eye specialist....

the non muslims just panic for every litle thing & go to the doctor for no reason....

The doctor magnifies it with a special lens and removes it using a small needle under local anesthesia.
