We have a broken arm which is not healing properly, and are
undergoing a course of physiotherapy.
We have been told that there are signs of Crips in the wrist
which is very painful to movement.
Can you explain Crips please.

IT is probably short for "Crepitus" This is the term used when the broken ends of a bone rub together, and sometimes make a creaking noise or grate. Can be painful. .

Hi well first off all i think you mean Crepitus thats the proper name anyone.Well the word means that the fracured/broken ends off the bones are not fusing or making new bone,so the ends rub together making a grating noise.Need more advise on this email me.

1 - How many of you are there with a broken arm?
2 - You sure you were'nt told it was chipped bones (chips) in the
wrist?
3 - Crisps are very thinly sliced potatoes which are deep fried and
flavoured. Sold in packets such as Walkers and Golden Wonder!

I Wonder!

i think crips is when the 2 bone ends rup together instead of fusing, this can indead be very painful, and delay the healing process
