ok i have a cut on my leg that isn't particualy deep or big so i didn't worry about it that much when i got it then the next day it looked infected so i put peroxide on it and even after i washed it off my cut is still as white as paper. do i need to see a doctor or will it go away on it's own?

You need to go in and get it looked at.
Make sure the edges haven't died, or if there is an infection
Also you don't want to scar, and perhaps they can help you with that too.

It's okay. Don't continue to use peroxide as it kills developing skin & tissue cells. Use a topical antibiotic such as polysporin, Neosporin or triple antibotic ointment and cover it with a bandaid. Signs and symptoms of local infection are redness, pain, warmth, swelling, and drainage that is yellow, yellow-brown, yellow-green, or greenish-blue. You would not have an elevated temperature unless the infection were advanced.

No, the peroxide bleaches any dead tissue, such as the dead skin at the edges of the cut. The bleaching will not wash off, but you are absolutely okay. Don't need to go to the doctor, I promise. It will go away as it heals.

I think it's supposed to be white, that means it's healing. Just wait a few more days and it will look better.
