it hurts. i burnt it on hot glue. i put in luke warm water n cold water n it hurts. please help what else should i do.

I get these unexpected chestpains every now and then, and the only way to get rid of them is to breathe in really fast, and then I feel a pop and I'm fine. Is it gas? What else could it be?

Our hands don't go horizontally, they go at an angle. I am tired of trying to dig the envelopes out. It HURTS my hands. I have carpel tunnel syndrome. When are they going to put the envelopes in ergonomically? What about us poor disabled people?

im 20 years old, perfectly healthy weight/diet, work out daily, and this morning I went out and jogged for an hour and then walked for another hour. Now im getting chest pains everytime I take in air to the point where I'm avoiding taking deep breaths and it hurt in the same area in my chest when I swallow. Does the fact that I jogged in somewhat cold/windy weather have anything to do with this??? what else could this be?

I have a sinus pain headache that just won't go away. I've had it for at least the last 5 days.

Problem is, the only thing that makes it feel better is excedrin. I think I've taken at least 20 pills in the last 3 or 4 days. My question: what is too much? I know what the bottle says, but I'm curious if I've already taken too much and if I should stop?

What might happen to me if I continue to take it?

Hello.
I am a teenager and had just got a cast removed from my leg one week ago from playing basketball. And I was wondering which is better and will avoid hurting my ankle or foot again, Aircast ankle brace, lace-up ankle brace, or taping. I don't mind if the one of them takes too long to put on, just as long as it supports my ankle and foot very effectively. Thank you.

Ok, I let my sister keep my 6 month old for a few days while I was going to be out of town. She has two bottom teeth and HAD one coming in at the top. well she, my baby, fell when she tried to pull up....and I understand that, babies are going to fall and get hurt, It's just gonna happen.....but when I find out that che cried for 4 hours and my dunbass sister didn't do anything about it!!!!!! I HATE her SO much right now!!!! but I can home RIGHT aftre I found out what really happend, and took the baby to the emergency room and they tell me that my bay has a SIGHT cuncussion almost 18 hours after the fact!!! Now I need to know what to do about my IDIOT sister and what i need to so with my baby. Her top tooth got knocked back in somehow, her lips a brused and she has a big bumb on her head. She's still laughing and playing like always, but i'm still worrried......please help me out, or at least try to console me a little................

I'm currently in college and yesterday I fell off my skateboard at medium speed. I sprained my left ankle REALLY REALL bad and there was immediately a HUGE lump in my ankle. I went immediately to the clinic at my college and they took x-rays. The guy who looked at the x-rays said there was no bone fractures at all.

Today, I woke up this morning, and my lump was gone! My foot no longer hurt and I could even walk on it (with some pain, of course).

But this morning, my doctor called me and told me to go back to the clinic. Then he told me there was actually a fracture on my ankle. Then he told me there was a previous fracture on my ankle that I had a long time ago. That, of course, is false because I've NEVER had a fracture before this. He is now referring me to another doctor who will take a look at my foot.

Should I believe him? I mean, if it really was fractured, then why did my black lump heal in 24 hours? Why did my feet stop hurting?

i keep getting really bad headaches, like atleast once a week. Sometimes I'm okay, but sometimes I feel so sick that I start puking, and almost pass out. All from a headache. Could it be a migraine? I'm only 13, so isn't that too young to have them?

im woken up out of my sleep,and i cant move my body just my eyes.im also aware of someone or something in the room with me its the most scariest thing that has happened to me.
it takes all of my energy just to move my little finger a inch,it feels like a real energy battle.that im left drained after.i have had this from about 14 if not younger im in my 30s now.anyone has had this happen to them let me know i would love to find out what it is

I have a cut on my right index finger that has closed up but for the past 2 months it has remained red and sore. I had it stitched at the hospital and a week ago my doc looked at me and told me that it was puffy because there is scar tissue. This is from 1 single friggen cut. it's like 2 cm long.
Anyway.. he says for me to give it one more month for healing but it's been 2 months and I am in pain when it get touched accidently. it's really red and its bothering me. Am I going to get sepsis? Should I go back to my doc and demand he do something? Should I get a 2nd opinion? I don't want my finger to become infected and fall off... bah. I hate being sick.

I have sever big toe pain..in the joint right below the nail and at the base of the nail..i get spazms and very sarpe pain..it is all the time now..no reief..started 11 yrs ago when i was 7 months pregant..xrays show no malformaties or broken anything..ive tryed all kinds of treatments at home and over the counter nothing works so far..i just wish it would stop..the pain is wearing me out..it hurts 100 perecnt of the time now..any ideals any one please help

I was reading in a magazine there is are new pain drugs being developed that will cut nauseau and side effects. They will go straight to pain receptors. Does anyone know about these? They are going to be geared towards cancer patients who feel weak and nausous daily.

I would be interested in knowing about these. Although I am not in pain or experiencing cancer, I am highly sensitive to pain drugs and have struggled in the past. What happens is I experience the side effect and the medicine does not effect me. I don't even think it gets absorbed by my system as I immediately toss my cookies. Then all I have is great pain. I am very sensitive to pain.

I have been in great pain, so I really want to know more about these drugs, as well as their names so I can have them on hand for the future. Thanks.

Hi whenever I feel pain I quickly try to go to sleep so I can't feel it anymore. I was wondering why people don't feel pain in their sleep.

ALSO, I was wondering why when you are in pain and then you go to sleep, why is it sometimes you will feel double the pain when you wake up, almost like your body is making up for lost time? This phenonmenon has happened to me a couple times. Can you relate to it? Thanks.

I noticed a horrible pain the other day when I tilted my head to the right. It is in my neck, right next to my throat on the left side. It also feels like it is in my jaw and when I press on it, I get a pain all through my head. Currently I have what feels like a headache and slight nausea, what can it be?

i've had the first hole since i was 8 or 9 with no problems. i got the second hole in my lobes a litle over 4 weeks ago.then last week the left one started giving me problems (red, itchy). i started treating it by sea salt soaking and it seemed fine. but i woke up this morning and it felt worse ,and it is swollen. now my left ear also feels irritated.
could my problem be the earrings? it's driving me nuts - i wanna take them out and let it close & get them redone, but i know if i let them close i can trap in infection.

I landed on my head/neck/back. Well i remember it in slow motion and i felt this weird loss of movement for a breif second or two. I felt like i literally bounced and a shock of electricity went thru my right arm, leg, backside. It felt kinda like when u hit your funny bone, but thru out my whole right side. It was like pins/needles/electricity....very odd, never felt that before. Does anyone know what that was???? I was able to haul butt back into my apt cuz my children were w/me. I called 911 and they took me to er. Well after ct of neck and lower back, they said i just had a concussion. They said to report to an orthopedic doc if i didnt' improve in 3days for more tests for a possible herniated disc. Can anyone tell me what the heck that feeling was that i experienced? It was like i was frozen for a moment and couldn't move until it subsided. WHen paramedics arrived, my blood pressure was way high....something like 174/122 or somethin??? Can't remember it is all a blur!
