Hi whenever I feel pain I quickly try to go to sleep so I can't feel it anymore. I was wondering why people don't feel pain in their sleep.

ALSO, I was wondering why when you are in pain and then you go to sleep, why is it sometimes you will feel double the pain when you wake up, almost like your body is making up for lost time? This phenonmenon has happened to me a couple times. Can you relate to it? Thanks.

I'm addressing the later part of your question...
Pain is greater in the mornings because the joints are stiff from the lack of movement. When your joints move, as in doing gentle stretches, synovial fluid in the joints lubricates & makes things glide better.
In addition to stiff joints, lactic acid can build up in muscles & cause pain. Massages & drinking lots of water help flush this out.

People do feel pain in their sleep, often times you won't remember it though.
