Vaccines have eliminated or reduced numerous diseases that used to kill millions of people.
The risks are very rare.
Your pediatrician can give you a recommended schedule for your children.
Chances are you've been immunized for everything you need.

One misconception is those few individuals (statistically speaking) whom have declined to be vaccinated use the fact they haven't (yet) been struck down with some nasty as evidence that it is a pointless excercise and unnecessary.
Those folks want to live in a country where most of the population has not been vaccinated and certain very hostile and nasty infections still lurk (such as polio). They would be at a high risk of being infected.
The reason few folks in the west get polio (or any of the other nasty we are vaccinated against) is because most people *are* vaccinated against it, it gives little chance for the virus to infect those whom have not.

People shouldn't get vaccinated !!
My parents are totally against it ...so i can honestly say i have NEVER had one shot or vaccination or immunization in my entire life ...i'm now 28 ...and VERY healthy !
It's all based on your natural immune system ....if one is healthy then they will have no problem fighting off a virus !!
I can guarantee that i am healthier than any person that has pumped that junk into their bodies!!

Depends on where you live and what diseases are in your area. Most vaccinations are done when you're a child or when you're going overseas to areas where other diseases are prevalent.
Common misconceptions are that immunisations cause other problems, and there are people who are paranoid about this, but all scientific studies have found their fears are groundless except for odd very, very, rare case

Who-everyone
When-starts when your an infant, last shot is tetanus when you're a teen, unless you're a healthcare worker than you get hep. b & tetanus, & sometimes flu shot everyyear
Why-you don't want polio or hepatitis, or tetanus, or measles, or rubella, or whatever else do you???
Misconceptions/Myths-none come to mind
By the way, vaccines are required before you can even get into school if you're a kid

.Everyone one should have the standard immunizations.
It usually starts as an infant, with boosters through out life.
Misconceptions/myths? Just ask anyone that was stupid enough not to get immunized, why they didn't.
It's for your own good, and others you have contact with.
