I have had a cold for a few days now and got a plugged ear the second day of my cold. tonight I had extreme pain in my ear for what seemed like forever but was proably about 20-30 mins then i felt relieve and liquid running out my ear. It ended up being blood which is still slowly comming out of my ear. What is this? Is the worst over? Do I need to see a doctor? I would rather not.

I suffered from a concussion 2 weeks ago. When I tried to go to sleep tonight I closed my eyes and started having extremely bad and strange thoughts. Then I got up and felt really weird and out of place. It lasted for about 10 minutes. Please tell me this is part of Post Concussion Syndrome.

I got a big abrasion on my elbow, which I applied iodine to, it got swollen so i elevated it, but I fell asleep in that position, after waking a few hours later, my entire shoulder was numb from being in that position while i slept.
For an entire month I was unable to raise my arm above my head, without pain. now I'm able to lift my shoulder but I still experience some pain when I bring it down to my side , also I hear a small pop and a snapping sensation in my upper shoulder as I bring it down. I never thought it was serious enough to see a doctor since I never actually hurt my shoulder but just acquired this injury by sleeping in a bad position, which is very perplexing

I've lived here almost 8 years and now I notice the paint on my ceiling is peeling off showing the drywall and the paint is in strips. I'm planing on moving but was just wondering what lead poisoning is. I don't eat paint chips or lick my walls so can I still be in danger?

Does anyone use meditation to deal with chronic pain? What exactly do you do? I have done a little meditation before, but not much. Are there specific exercises you use, and if so, what are they? How frequently and for how long do you meditate, or how frequently is it reccomended? I am a college student with a currently undiagnosed disease that causes almost constant aching and pain. Meditation was suggested because they don't want to risk any interactions with the other meds they've got me on right now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was just curious.

I've been having back pain recently and I dont really know the cause. Is it a good idea do get a massage without looking into a cause of the back pain? I just dont want to make anything worse.

The worst part was that I was at the doctor two times in the last two weeks for something unrelated, but forgot to bring it up.

Do I have to go back to get it fixed?

it's in the top right part of my back, and it mainly hurts when i'm sitting down, lying on my stomach, getting up/lying down from bed, yet i was able to shovel the front steps without pain this morning.... i'm 15 but i feel like i'm 75!!!

All those germs in your bed.....
My mom does not take them and she is a nurse. She gets all those germs on her and she just sleeps. I understand people take showers in the morning to wake up. But that is just gross to not take them at night>>>Right?
