i was leaning over for a really long time last friday and now my back really hurts. i've put those icey hot patches on, and took tons of aspirin but there has been no effect on the pain.

it's in the top right part of my back, and it mainly hurts when i'm sitting down, lying on my stomach, getting up/lying down from bed, yet i was able to shovel the front steps without pain this morning.... i'm 15 but i feel like i'm 75!!!

Your body already told you what you need. Find some exercises that will rotate your back into its correct position. Back rolls, lying on your back, raising your legs one at a time and touching the ground with your foot on your left and right sides, fully extended, and various other moves. See a chiropractor if one is available. You shouldn't need aspirin for more than a day or two. Listen to your PE instructor. Work it out.

Try going to a massage therapist and/or a chiropractor. You could just be out of alignment, which in effect can cause muscle tightness and/or nerve impingement. One or all of them cause pain. Only taking pills and applying heat is merely just attempting to mask the symptoms and not fix the problem. So yeah, massage therapist and/or a chiropractor.

Start by having a couple swigs of molasses or a couple bananas (they are natural muscle relaxers).
Have a professional massage. The muscles in your back tightened up while knots (trigger points) were being formed. It will take work to get them back to normal. Your back, arms, shoulders and neck are involved and your legs most likely.

Hmm, pain medication, seeing a doctor, not shoveling anything...
