Molasses and bananas are natural muscle relaxers because they contain magnesium and potassium.
Water intake to help flush your system is recommended at 1/2 gallon or more per day, especially important to avoid headaches.
Muscles - If you rub down the muscles (there are 4 major ones) in your leg and find place(s) that are tender. PLEASE see a massage therapist. It is likely that your back, rump and legs are all tight.
There is a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies that can explain and teach you how to heal yourself. The short version is that muscles get knots, which makes them tight, allowing them to press on nerves.

One of the symptoms of DVT or deep vein thrombosis is leg pain especially if it increases with excercise. DVT is potentially life threatening and you should be checked out by a Dr. Also sciatic and lower back issues can manifest as leg pain. It is important to get checked out to see if there is a true health issue.

If it is not a supplement of magnesium may help with many types of cramping. But if you have good nutrition, take a multivitamin and are in general good health it is worth being checked out for this symptom.
