I can understand the cause of sharp stabbing pains, they are because of the muscles that are contracting...

...but what about all those excruciating aches? The way your spine feels as though its about to snap at any moment? The way your legs feel like they've marched 1,000 miles? The way your stomach feels as though its being crushed!?

Why do the ACHING pains occur?

I asked earlier why Quinine had been discontinued. I know this has been discontinued, I tried to get my refill today and the pharmacist told me it had all been taken off the shelf. Said to ask my Doc why and to see what alternatives there were. I took mine for cramps......................

I just got a nosebleed and it lasted approx. 45 min. I was coughing up blood... >.< I also feel light headed, and I look pale. (blood loss?) At one time, both of my nostrils were bleeding. My throat also feels like its burning, and it hurts to swallow.

Is this normal?

i hit my head on this thing then my head started bleeding i put ice and then put pressure to stop the bleeding then i put some rubbing elcohol on it i got it yesterday.it doesent hurt anymore and it looks like its fine.should like i do anything to let it heal faster?or anyother tips

what is it and how can I make it go down, it's affecting my rehab, my physical therapist told me it will go down with time and that I should either rest it and stop squating and doing things like that, or just tape it up and deal with the pain. About a month and a half ago I was having a pain in my mouth, I thought that maybe I had a wisdom tooth coming in. The pain was pretty bad for a week or so and then it just started to go away. About a week after that I thought I was coming down with strept throat (which I did not). Everyday now it is hard for me to swallow (even swallow air). I have not had a cold of anything and I have no temperature or anything else other a few sniffles due to the cold weather, any suggestions?????

The other day I wasn't feeling well, so I slept for practically 14 hours straight - way longer than normal. And I swear, when I woke up I looked like I hadn't shaved in 5 days, I practically had a full beard.

It was weird. It made me wonder if our hair grows a lot faster when we are sleeping than when we are awake. I slept about 3x longer than I normally do. I know sleep is important, but I wonder if our bodies recover and re-grow cells that much during sleep.
