on malpractice? In 2 years she has seen me twice for about 45 seconds each and has prescribed harsh immunosuppressent drugs. I don't see her again for 5 months after just starting a new drug that is causing terrible side effects.

the other day my uncle was cutting a piece of rope with a knife that had a gut hook on it well it slipped and my lil cousin was short enough to where it was going to hit her in the head and most likely kill her, i stuck my hand infront of the knife so it wouldnt hit her it pierced my hand and went almost all the way through, i could see the metal through my skin, it was bleeding hard well i pulled it out and the hook on the end tore the inside of my hand more...i didnt shead a tear and i almost died my hand is messed up for a while from the nerves...it is wierd that i didnt feel any pain? i didnt totally kill the nerves i can still feel things and i can feel things in the tips of my fingers but still i didnt cry...andwhen a dirtbikes gas tank blew up and threw me into a tree and broke 2 of my ribs i didnt feel any pain or cry, is there something wrong with me?

I had an MRI w/ contrast and the impression was a full thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon just proximal to the greater tuberosity. I am in great pain w/ limited mobility. What is the treatment for this and if it is surgical, can it be done through laproscopy or does the surgeon make an incision?

i have an ingrown toenail its been tere for awhile i think like months and over the last week it has been swelling and hard to wear shoes and now it hurts to even walk on it im try to make an appoinment with a foot specialist but the soonest will be next mon. i have to work fri through mon all night What should i do for the swelling and to treat it so i can still work properly ? until i get it fixed mon morning .

ok, i was sledding and i was going like 20 mph and i hit a stone step thing on my wrist and it's been 3 days and i cant really move it. it really hurts to write and i cant use utensils or else it really hurts. I cant make a basketball shot for my life cuz it hurts so bad to bend my hand back. should i see a doctor? i dont know if its broken or sprained cuz there's not much swelling and it looks like usual but it feels so....bad! is it broken?

I need help, I have had surgery once had to have a disc removed and now pain back again, I have went to doctorr after doctor and they say I will always hurt, but they wont give me anything but Ultram, Tramadol, Ultracet, and crap like that, I do believe since I moved to this small town that they stereotype me cause of my many tattoos, I know that narcotics are highly addictive but I have to have something to help me with this pain. I dont have insurance to go to any real doctors that will fix me for good and I cant get medicaid cause they say we make too much but still I cant afford insurance.

Someone, Please help me, it seems that everyone else can get pain management but me, whats the deal ? Any doctors out there ?

I am 29 years young, growing up I was stupid and lifted anything and everything and now I am paying for it and no one cares. I had three herneated discs early 2005 and I started to see my family doctor, and he put me on pain meds and sent me to get an MRI, the discs were really bulging. I then did their 3 shots in my back and that only seem to make it worse. Finally in May of 2005 I was doing something and a disc literally exploded, and I went to my knees and couldnt walk, wife finally took me to a surgeon and He done another MRi and russhed me to surgery the very next morning, I had a disc explode and a piece wrapped around my main nerve cord and had me paralized.
To shorten up this story, surgery went fine, I went home the very next day, felt great for about two months, stopped taking pain meds (they had me on Oxycontin, cause pain was so severe before) now pain again , doctors wont do anything and I dont have insurance anymore, they wont give me pain meds, what do I do?

my neck, across my shoulders and down my spine. I take Zanaflex, Tramadol, Lyrica on a daily basis and Vicodin occassionally. I need more relief but haven't found anything that totally works. Sometimes I feel like everything isn't connected, being short circuited. Anyone have similar symptons and if so what do you do or take to get relief?

Okay, let me see how I can put this clearly: I've been peeling my skin ever since I was a little kid. It started out with biting my nails, and I don't know how, but led on to me peeling the skin off from my fingers. I don't know if this is tension because I never really keep track lol, but is this supposed to mean something? My fingers have scabs and I really want to know how to stop this. Can you please help? This just happened around lunch time today. I was driving and I thought the heater was really heating up my leg, however, I am not in the car anymore and the outer part of my calf is on fire and aching. It is kinda scaring me. I've been back and forth to the doctor about my current health problems...which are being tracked down, hopefully coming to a diagnosis. So I am used to weird things going on in my body, just not this one.... Any suggestions on what to do or why this is happening. It couldn't be a dvt, could it?

I am constantly INFLICTED with the smoke of cigerettes. I walk by someone and I literally can't breathe. (I'm not exagerating.) Do smokers just not care or do the just not realize that they are a problem to non-smokers?
