I had an MRI w/ contrast and the impression was a full thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon just proximal to the greater tuberosity. I am in great pain w/ limited mobility. What is the treatment for this and if it is surgical, can it be done through laproscopy or does the surgeon make an incision?

This is really something you need to discuss with your doctor. I'm sure that every situation is different.
