I think I have TMJ. My jaws have always felt "loose" or something I don't know how to describe and I've had a need to work them back and forth and pop them since I was a kid. Well, now that I'm pregnant I've been waking up with my jaws out of alignment so I can't close my teeth together. Usually it goes away in a few minutes, but this morning it's been like that for a couple of hours. It's not painful but I can't chew normally. Any ideas about what to do?

Does anyone know how many cortisone injections per year are safe for the tissues? I've heard that noone must exceed three in a year. How often are to be done? I had one, after a week the second one, and the doctor will give me the third one after 15 days (trochanteric bursitis). Does anyone knows something? Thanks!

I have this average poor guy working hard to earn money to go to college and his eyes are like a mix of yellow and red. Well, his eyes are like chinese, so if I open them up, the upper part of the eyes, which are hidden, are so healthy clean white like never been damaged. And the lower part of his eyes, the part he uses everyday, is so yellow and red veins all over it. He used to work on construction, and other jobs that are body damaging. Like the cement entering his eyes and damaging it. I let him try this eye medicine my mom's doctor prescribed on her when her eyes got cement on it. And his eyes didn't heal like her eyes did. I know his eyes are already used to getting dirt on them and my mom doesn't.But is there some hope or way so that his eyes can get healed and become as white and healthy as the upper part of his eyes?I'm really really desperate.I don't want him to someday be blind because of this.He works really hard now that I'm in his life and don't want him to lose his sight

The pain is in my left ribcage, i cant sit straight up myself someone has to pull me up for it to not hurt. It has also worked its way to my back. On a scale of 1 to 10 the pain is a 10, it feels like someone is jamming a screwdriver into my rib. Im thinking a broken rib or pulled muscle.

This morning I have had a sharp shooting pain in my left lower back, behind the rib cage. They have only lasted a few seconds each, and it's happened twice. Both times it's happened when I've breathed in, the pain has eased when I breathed out, but shot back again on the next in-breath. Any ideas?

I was in a car accident a few months back and ever since then I have had problem with my finger, X-rays shows no breaks of any kind in my finger and my finger feels really strange, at first my finger hurt something awlful, but then over time the pain as well as the numbness and tingling all went away, and now I am stuck with a finger that still gets stuck one position, it is hard for me to straighten out my finger as of yet...can anyone tell me if this is the sign of a broken finger or could it be something else?

I have a bad toothache, it just started today, but it's a tooth that has bothered me before. I know it has a big hole in it, I can feel it. How do I subdue the pain until I can go to the dentist? I have to find a dentist to go to so I'm not sure how long it'll be before I can go. So, other than pills, is there a way to ease the pain? (Aren't toothaches the worst??? I hate them...)
