Any medical doctor can prescribe pain medication. For that type of med, you are going to have to prove why you need it.

Well, I would certainly hope so. Vicodin is very effective for pain control. But be aware, that 1/3 of all people who are addicted to prescription pain medications are addicted to vicodin, (in this country).

May I recommend a possible way to get rid of the pain? Read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches how to get the knots in the muscles to relax so they are not applying pressure to nerves and other things causing the pain. As well as where referred pain is comming from.
