I have to do it to relieve pain in my fingers, neck, back, shoulders, legs, feet and toes. I keep being told I'll get arthritis if I keep doing it but it really hurts and I stiffen up if I don't, does anyone have the same problem or know what I should do.

I crack my fingers a lot and also hunch up my shoulders to hear the bones in my back click.

The other week I googled to see if there's a link between cracking fingers and arthritis, but the (limited) studies that have been done don't seem to think so - although it's possible that whatever pre-disposes someone towards arthritis also pre-disposed them to having crackable-fingers - so if this is true, cracking your fingers doesn't *cause* arthritis but might be a sign that you'll get it when you're older. Nothing conclusive, though.

My hips click a lot. If is it down with my legs crossed and get up they click every time. They also click randomly. I think it's because i've been training in tae kwon-do for almost 5 years now and it's causing my hips to wear. Also my ankles do it a lot too. It's just air in the joint's that's all. Nothing to worry about but if it makes your body stiffen then maybe you should go and see your doctor.

Popping/cracking is usually due to the muscles being to tight to let proper movement occur. Knots in the muscles called trigger points make the muscles tight causing pressure on nerves and other places. Read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies for a possible solution.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Try out some home remedies. You can also look for information in the web that give you home remedies. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
