I hear you saying the joint makes noise. Okay. There are 2 reasons to get excited about joint noise: 1. the noise is accompanied by a lot of discomfort. 2. The knee clicks when you bend it (for example), and then you have a really hard time straightening it out again.
That's it. If you are not having #1 or #2, it is probably not a big deal in and of itself that the joint makes noise. That doesn't mean you won't have problems down the road, however.

if its just a little snapping sound when you extend your leg you'll be fine it happens to me all the time. Just make sure u stretch before you exercise.

But not scared enough to go to a doctor to find out what is wrong???? Do that...now.
