I gargled salt water...not much of a difference, I've taken liquid tylenol....nothing......... please help!

Sorry, but if it's getting worse, there may be an infection and you will need to see a Dr. to determine if you need antibiotics.

It is unlikely that this is the only thing going on but is probably a contributor.
Muscles can get knots in them causing the tight muscle to apply pressure to the nerves which you would understand as pain. They can be tight in your back, shoulders, neck both front and back and anywhere on your head and have an impact on ENT. To help loosen them a good massage then you try to find tender spots they are the trigger points (knots) rub lengthwise along the muscle 6-12 times up to six times per day to help them release.
Onion is in the garlic family and has the same curative qualities so for ear drops bake or microwave an onion and use a couple of drops in each ear at bedtime (you will need a shower)
For more information on trigger points read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies

I have had the exact same thing for about a week. For earaches you can buy Similason drops. I found mine at Wal-Mart and they worked really well. I have also been taking Tylenol Severe Congestion to help with my sore throat and other symptoms which I also found at Wal-Mart(due to the ingredients you have to show a photo ID to buy). Halls Fruit Breezers have also been helping me with my sore throat.

Try clearing your sinus It could be the root of your problem (nose ,ear, and throat). Ear take a news paper roll it in to a funnel put the small end in ear canal and light the large end, hold it level. don't burn yourself. the smoke will take away the pain. they sell funnels at health stores.
