Try yoga. bikram (Its done in a hot room) might help the most. It could really help relaxing and straching the contracted muscles.
It might help you gain more mobility. I've seen it work for others.

if you have legs, its just a matter of how much you want to run, if your biggest wish is to run, do something about it.
if you can walk, walk as often as possible(more than 5 times a day) .
when you feel like you can lo longer walk, keep going until you fall and cannot get up, and let no one help you.
put yourself in a position of necessity, where you must walk yo survive.
this problem is all in your mind, so put yourself in jeapordy, and your natural instinct will kick in.
you will shut off the part of your brain that forgot how to keep balance and move quickly.
instead, your instinct will rush to figure it out, and you will do what you think you cannot.
then, you will remember what you did, and you will run.
have someone put you in your bathtub, and leave you to freee yourself.
once you can do that, ask a neighbor to borrow their dog, it must be a mean dog.
you must be scared of it.
in your backyard, hit the dog on the muzzle and have your neighbor release the dog.
you will be very scared(the dog must come after you)
and once the dog has hurt you(he will hurt you, but nothing serious), your instinct will froce you to move away, as fastr as possible.
you will be able to run, but will fall constantly.
make sure your neighbor does not retrieve the dog, unless (rare event)you bleed a lot. that means major blood loss, not a minor cut.
i know this sounds dangerous and scary, but if you back off even the least bit, it shows lack of dedication.
if you are not willing to go through pain to get what you want, you dont really want it.
It was fear and panic that disabled your legs, so to get them back, you will have to conquer your fears and follow your instinct.
trust me on this.
think about it, but remember:
there is no way to fix what you have without pain.
to answer your question, the answer is simple:
if you really want it, you will run.
if you want to take the easy route, you will not run until you have learned the lesson God is trying to teach you: No pain, No gain
