Massage therapy NOT physical therapy.
In over 75% of the cases the problem is caused by the muscles being tight limiting mobility because they have knots (trigger points) in them and modern medicine has not learned what to do without damaging them.
What ever you decide INSIST on whoever is doing the therapy read the book you should also read called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
