I have sever big toe pain..in the joint right below the nail and at the base of the nail..i get spazms and very sarpe pain..it is all the time now..no reief..started 11 yrs ago when i was 7 months pregant..xrays show no malformaties or broken anything..ive tryed all kinds of treatments at home and over the counter nothing works so far..i just wish it would stop..the pain is wearing me out..it hurts 100 perecnt of the time now..any ideals any one please help

Have they considered removing the toenail to see if that helps or even trying cortisone shots? These are some things that come to mind.

The book that I recommend is based on muscles but may help in the section dealing with feet - The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
Other than that have you checked with a chiropractor to make sure you are otherwise aligned properly - and a podiatrist.
