I have an injury to my hand, feels like it is at the base of my 5th metacarpal bone (the bones between the wrist and fingers).

I practice alot of martial arts, and do alot of bagwork and sparring, so i'm not even sure when exactly (roughly 2 weeks ago) or how i recieved the injury.

I am still able to move my little finger, but with alot of pain, and a "pop" when i move it back and forth.

i can barely stand to put any pressure on the bone itself, much less do any weight bearing excercises (i.e. pushups, handstands...).

Also, there seems to be a small lump, or some sort of "deformity" (for lack of a better word) that protrudes outwards when i make a fist.

I do not have, nor can i afford health insurance right now, so going to a Doctor is a last resort right now. any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

I have had my largnx broken twice and my left vocal cords where damaged by long term intibation. I have some pretty good ability to speak but I have tussive syncopy and tend to faint once in awhile because of some vasor vegal thing. I had right frontal lobe x2 to clip an anurism. No aqparent damage. BUT I seem to be incapable of crying. It's as if my body decided never to have that reflex again. Could this be a physical thing ?

i've had many accidents in my life. i've injured many areas of my body and then got diagnosed with both chronic pain disorder as well as "borderline" fibromyalgia. one of the medications i have taken for so long is amitriptilyne (elevil), one 25 mg./night.

in the past 6 to 9 months, i have been experiencing, daily, a pain all over my body (but not in my torso itself) whereby it feels like the fascia that holds the musles and tendons on the bones aches. what is this condition? what is done to treat it? my doctor already doubled the dose of elevil that i take each night. it only helps a little bit. i do NOT have arthritis and do not need a rheumatologist. what else could this be?

Okay so I normally I sleep about 7 hours every night, and at most I can get about 10, but either way, I still feel tired in the day. I'm 14, average weight (135-140 for being 5'8") and I excercise often. Could sleeping erratically be the problem? Because I got 10 hours of sleep last night and since its 1:20 now and i have to wake up at 6:30 it looks like ill be getting about 5. Its pretty hard to maintain a strict schedule, but will it really help a lot if I do?

When I put them next to eah other, the hurt toe is more swollen and its darker - you can see purple and blue. should i see a doctor or will it heal by itself.

I have a bulging disk at L5 and it's pushing on my siatic nerve. I can't control my right leg. I have to stand on my left leg. I weigh nearly 300 lbs. so it's hard to take all the weight on one foot. Last night I went flying across the room because I stepped on the right leg and it's useless. I drove home and almost crashed my truck trying to use that leg to break with! I left work crying too! I went in today and stayed all day, but I told them not to expect me tomorrow!

I hit my head about a month ago, which resulted in a large bump that took a while to heal. Now, the bump is completely healed, but there is a completely bald spot where I hit my head! Does anyone know anything about this? Why did it fall out? Will it grow back?

I have been smoking for about 20 years (I am 35) and would love to give it up but I am really scared that I won't be able to do it. My husband quit 5 years ago and has been on my case ever since to do the same. I wish I could wake up tomorrow and be a non-smoker. The problem is I still enjoy smoking maybe 10 out of the 20 cigarettes I have each day.
