What numbs an area arm or what not before you cut into it?
Is that what the red blood looking liquid they use in medical shows look like?

novacaine.....the liquid is to fight infection

The red liquid is called Betadine. It does nothing to numb the area, only to prevent infection.
Lidocaine injections are often used to numb the area of the skin before it's cut into. These, of course, are not available without a prescription.

In Greek it's called XYLOCAINE.
Make sure you ask your doctor to give you one with a rich percentage of the ingredient (say a good 40%) so you're sure of the result.

iodine-kills germs!!! caine kills pain-dangerous,illegal,and can be deadly- go to the nearest E R if you are in enough pain to consider cutting into yourself - the pain won't kill you- but an infection can-
